Network and System Security:Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus solutions. Security Policies and Compliance:Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Vulnerability Assessment:Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in the organization's systems and networks. Industry-recognized certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), may also be part of the training or pursued separately. Security Reporting:Generate and present regular reports on the organization's security posture to management and relevant stakeholders. Some programs may be intensive, lasting a few weeks, while others may be part-time over several months. Threat Intelligence Analysis:Stay informed about current cyber threats and trends. Develop and implement incident response plans to minimize damage and prevent future incidents. Document findings for future reference and improvement.
